The French Female Football Team will be the first …

This game is expected to be one of the biggest games in Euro 2012, both sides come into this game with points to prove. France come to this game with a bit of stability, whilst England have a new manager and some new blood in the side.
France will be looking into the likes of foward Karim Benzema and Franck Ribery for inspiration. They have a wonderful attacking talent and with the English defence missing the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Gary Cahill. However, the French defence is also not the …

The French come to the Euros with no favourites tag, but they come as underdogs. This group of players would like to emulate the 1984 and 2000 generations, by winning the 2012 campaign. Laurent Blanc takes France into Euro 2012 on a 20-game unbeaten run, which includes victories over Germany, England and Brazil. But the French national team coach is still downplaying his team’s chances. France has not won a tournament finals match since the 2006 World Cup semifinal (it was winless at Euro 2008 and at the 2010 World …

FRANCE are a solid team. They defend and attack as a unit, and are extremely good at doing it.
When they lose the ball, they hassle the opposition, forcing them into a mistake.
And when they possess it, they can be lethal. With an array of attacking talent (see previous posts), the likes of Benzema and Ribery have the talent to strike the lethal blow.
The constant switching of positions means it is nigh on impossible to man mark a player, otherwise you would be running around covering every blade of grass on …

IT is hard to argue Laurent Blanc does not have a wealth of talent at his disposal for Euro 2012.
France are currently on a 21 game unbeaten run, a far cry from their disastrous World Cup campaign under Raymond Domenech.
With Blanc at the helm, the side are now tighter as a unit, looking solid defensively and dangerous going forward.
A 2-0 victory over Serbia last week and a 4-0 win over Estonia tonight (Tuesday) ensures the side will be going into the tournament full of confidence.
Many in France are tipping the …

FRANCE’S players will be €320,000 richer if they win Euro 2012.
That is the reward for victory, although should they fail to reach the quarter-finals, they will get nothing.
Laurent Blanc’s side are under pressure to perform well this summer, following their disastrous outing in South Africa in 2010.
The World Cup winning defender has selected seven Premier League-based players as part of his 23-man squad.
Manchester City and Newcastle United each have two representatives, while Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have one.
Perhaps surprisingly, 12 players ply their trade in France, despite Ligue 1 …

England 1-2 France, Wembley Stadium, 17/11/10
A sell-out Wembley crowd had eagerly forked out a fortune to witness a much anticipated duel between two of world football’s heavyweights last night, but rather like the WBA bout at the weekend, one left in shame while the other more than earned their result.
Under strength albeit, England were disgraced at the hands of a fully transformed France, well and truly on the road to renewal with the hosts travelling in the opposite direction. Goals from Karim Benzema and Mathieu Valbuena eased off a poor England side …

France 2-0 Romania, 9/10/10
Forget the sympathy directed at Roy Hodgson. If you thought the ex-Fulham gaffer had it tough then spare a thought for Laurent Blanc, who walked into the France job without a hope it would seem. But now, if all goes well on Tuesday night against Luxembourg, you would not be able to wipe the smile off of Blanc’s face even with the most brutal machine after last nights 2-0 victory following the summers ludicrous showing. A catastrophic series of outrageous events lit up a drab World Cup in South Africa, particularly from …

European nation France have revealed their new official home shirt that they will wear at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
France had a fairly disappointing qualifying campaign which saw them off the pace for the majority of time and have to settle for 2nd place behind Serbia. They were drawn against the Republic of Ireland in the two legged play off match which is by no means a certainty.

The new France 2010 World Cup shirt is predominately dark blue with numerous red and white diagonal stripes running centrally on either side …

European nation France has revealed their new away shirt that they will wear in the event of a color clash throughout the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The French national team have underperformed in recent times with manager Raymond Domenech coming in for much of the criticism after a poor qualification campaign. The French finished behind Serbia which saw them pitted against the Republic of Ireland in a play off. The tie went to extra time where Theirry Henry scored a massively controversial goal after using his hand to control the …
